Alaina is a Green Building Consultant and Energy Analyst at GEM, where she specializes in California Title 24 energy compliance modeling, LEED certification consulting, CALGreen documentation, and affordable housing compliance under CTCAC. She holds credentials as a Green Building Inspector/Plans Examiner, HERS Rater, and Certified Energy Analyst, and earned her B.A. in Energy Management and Design from Sonoma State University. She brings a strong focus to making the analysis and inspection process straightforward for clients, translating complex energy codes and green building standards into clear, actionable guidance for architects, developers, and contractors. Her path into the field grew from a longstanding passion for sustainable and natural building, rooted in a genuine connection to the built and natural world that continues to shape her work.
